I had the SAME issue with my daughter doing this. The “glitching” excuse is classic lmao. Here’s what worked for me – I sat down and made a deal with her. Told her I only need to check location during certain times (like when she’s supposed to be home by curfew) and rest of the time i wont look. Also showed her MY location is on too so its fair. She stopped turning it off after that. If he still does it tho you might need to set it as a condition for having the phone tbh. Like “phone stays on = location stays on” otherwise no phone. Worked with mine after she realized I was serious. Sometimes you gotta put your foot down fr.

okay but what if the person turned off their location sharing? my son keeps doing that and says his phone is “glitching” ? any workarounds or am i just stuck?

Been using Find My for years with my wife and its honestly saved our marriage lol. No more fighting about where anyone is or if someone forgot to pick up the kids. Transparency = trust. Highly recommend for families!

wait so you dont even need their apple id password?? thats crazy i thought you needed full access. gonna try the find my friends method with my sister cause she always says shes “on the way” but takes 2 hours to show up ?

I’ve been using Eyezy for a couple of months. It’s really good at tracking things. The social media monitoring feature is quite useful for keeping tabs on what my teenager does online. Although the price might be a bit high for some people. I would suggest it if you’re not worried about the budget!
