I used this when my daughter “lost” her phone (she left it at her boyfriends house lol). found it in like 10 minutes. She was NOT happy that I showed up but hey thats what you get for lying ?‍♀️ technology is scary for them and useful for us parents

So I actually use Detectico specifically and its super accurate – like scary accurate lol. usually gives you the exact location within a few meters not just general area. I’ve tested it multiple times and its always been spot on. HOWEVER I’m not 100% sure about the sim card swapping thing… I think once someone physically removes the sim and puts in a new one the tracking might stop? Detectico is definitely the most reliable tracker I’ve tried (way better than the free ones) but I don’t think ANY app can track a phone if someone completely swaps out the sim card. maybe someone else knows more about this? but for your dad with dementia it would still be perfect because he’s not gonna be swapping sim cards you know? the accuracy alone makes it worth it for that situation.

Wait so these apps can track even if someone swaps the SIM card? That’s lowkey impressive tech. How accurate is the location though? Like are we talking exact address or just general area? Might get this for my elderly father who has dementia.

My phone got stolen last week and the police were basically useless. Wish I’d known about these sim tracker apps before!!! Could have actually found it instead of just accepting it was gone. Definitely installing one on my new phone asap
