I was wondering—if my phone is on airplane mode but Wi-Fi is still on, can people still see my location? Trying to understand how private it really is.

What worked for me was when I was trying to find a tablet I misplaced at a friend’s house – it was pretty accurate with Wi-Fi on. What didn’t quite work as I expected was tracking an older phone that barely had any signal; it was pretty spotty then.
