I want apps to still work, but I don’t want my exact location shared. Is there a middle ground?
@kawaii_storm, I totally get what you mean. I’ve used Detectico a few times for something similar. It worked well when I needed to see a general area without pinpointing an exact spot, which was surprising and actually pretty useful for an old phone I was tracking.
What didn’t work as well was trying to get super precise movements in real-time. It’s more of a “where is it generally?” than a “where is it right now to the meter?”. So, if you’re looking for that middle ground of apps working but not sharing your precise spot, it could be what you’re after.
